Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The work happens inside this browser tab, so your files never leave your device and no server sees them. Closing the tab clears them from memory.
Can it open password-protected archives?
Yes for ZIP files: enter the password and the locked files are extracted. Locked RAR and 7z archives cannot be opened here yet.
What are the limits?
Archives up to 1 GB, with up to 200 MB of files extracted at a time. Files whose names point outside the archive's folder, and system files such as __MACOSX, are skipped, and the result says so.
