Rotate images

Turn photos and images the right way up: your files stay on your device, nothing is uploaded, and it is free with no account.

Drop images here

JPG, PNG or WebP. Up to 100 images, 80 MB each.

Starting UFO Web…

The work happens in this tab. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. Choose JPG, PNG or WebP images, or drop them on this page.

  2. Pick how far to turn them. A photo the camera saved sideways is first shown upright, then turned.

  3. Download the rotated copies one by one or in one ZIP file.

Questions

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The work happens inside this browser tab, so your images never leave your device and no server sees them. Closing the tab clears them from memory.

Does rotating lose quality?

PNG copies stay lossless. JPG and WebP copies are saved again at 92% quality, which is hard to see. Location and camera details are left out of the copies.

What are the limits?

Up to 100 images at a time. Each can be up to 80 MB and 50 million pixels, and rotated copies are at most 16,384 pixels wide or high. Animated PNG and WebP files are not converted, because only their first frame would be kept.

The same file engine is in the UFO apps for Android and Windows.
