Questions
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The work happens inside this browser tab, so your images never leave your device and no server sees them. Closing the tab clears them from memory.
Will the JPG be smaller than the PNG?
Usually, especially for photos, because JPG leaves out detail you rarely notice. Each result shows its size, so you can compare. Transparent areas become white, since JPG has no transparency.
What are the limits?
Up to 100 images at a time. Each can be up to 80 MB and 50 million pixels, and the copies are at most 16,384 pixels wide or high. Animated PNG and WebP files are not converted, because only their first frame would be kept.
